 Strong netting, stable structure November 10, 2008

This is a fairly easily assembled net structure that can handle drives, high-lofted shots and chips without any difficulty.
The net relies on plastic clips fastened onto the frame in order to bend it into the appropriate shape. Some of my clips have already moved slightly, causing the shape to change a little but a bit of further, reluctant, adjustment has fixed that.
The net takes approximately 15 minutes to set up, from taking the box out to putting the last clip on and fixing the pegs in the ground. It takes about 10 minutes to take down and put away.
It's a big net and it requires a fair bit of space to put together so make sure it will fit in the space that you have. It's a little awkward to put up the first time (you need to put the metal poles together in a circle which requires a bit of effort, and then connect clips from one side to the other) but you get used to it fairly quickly.
Once it's set up you're good to go as soon as you put a weight (not provided) in the little blue bag at the base of the net.
Then you stand a comfortable distance from the net and hit away. The cross section of straps at the back also makes an impromptu chipping basket if you're so inclined. Any chips that don't go in there I know I've topped.
All in all a good product with quality netting that I don't expect to tear anytime in the near future. I'm not worried about the plastic clips that hold the net on either as it's not really necessary for every clip to be in place for the net to work - so if one or two of them break due to my awesome slice or insane power hook, it won't be the end of the world.

The net was well made and priced low but took almost 10 minutes to set up. I had a hard time keeping it standing, the guy lines and stakes were very necessary but they give no specific directions on where & how to attach them. To store it required that it be completely dismantled. I purchased the Instant Range Net to replace it, and it truly is Instant. Much more stable and instantly sets up. The Insta-net is not what its name implies.

This net is good. Easy to set up and and easy to dismantle. But the problem is with the bottom harness design. The harness hooks on both side is made of plastic, one hit to it and it breaks into pieces. It should be metal, otherwise it just marginalized an otherwise good product. Mine broke after few weeks of playing, I tied it with a metal wire, to hold it in place. Apart from this problem it's a pretty good net.

This is a great net. I am extremely happy with the quality of this net. the netting is thick and durable. Also, it is extremely easy to set up and put together, and has step by step insructions. I recently purchased a net shaped like a tent that was extremely hard to put up, and one of the poles broke, but I have had no problems with the Izzo Big Daddy Insta-Net. This net is big enough to catch golf shots, but small enough to fit in my basement, which is eight feet high. The shipping was also quick. I strongly recommend this net for any golfer.

I purchased the Izzo Big Daddy Inta-Net after much research. My husband has taken up golf in the past couple of years & spends quite a bit of time at the driving range. I thought this would be a good gift. We loved the way it set up, but on the first afternoon of use, one of the plastic clips snapped into. Why they did not used metal clips, I don't know. We thought "how can we fix it" so we didn't have to pay the postage and go through the hassle of shipping it back, but we could not figure out a solution. I would suggest finding a net that is attached by something more durable than plastic. I am sending it back tomorrow, and we are both disappointed.
